Humboldt, Iowa — Fort the 12th year in a row, local artisans will be filing in — and filling up — the Humboldt County Historical Museum for the Humboldt Area Arts Festival.

The festival, which will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, will feature local artisans, food vendors, and other crafts and hobby tents.

Per the council’s website the event will also help fund future events: “The Humboldt Arts Festival will include a large children’s art area, live music, entertainment and multiple food vendors. Proceeds will help fund the future art programming within the Humboldt area.”

After the festival concludes, the Kris Karr Band will play from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The festival is free of charge.
