Chantlands-MHS Openings

The Chantland-MHS Co. a world leader in the design and manufacturer of material handling systems, has immediate openings for the following positions on

1st shift, 7AM – 3:30PM.

Electrical Assembly-Applicant must be able to integrate many machines within a system, using blueprints, running conduit, seal tite, unistrut, mounting junction boxes, making and pulling wire harnesses, bringing all wiring to the control panel and having an electrical education or comparable experience is a requirement.


Machinist:  This position will set up and operate Bridgeport, manual and CNC driven lathes, as well as drill press and tap operations, follow production schedules, as well as UPS and stock order schedules.  Applicants should have the ability to read and understand blueprints, job orders and operations schedules, along with knowledge of how to read manual micrometers bore gauges, dial calipers, tape measures, feeler gauges, angle finders and other measuring instruments.  Good math skills and mechanical abilities will support success in this position.


Packaging Assembly: Applicant must have an assembly aptitude and be able to follow instructions including mechanical and blueprint reading abilities, have some general electrical background, welding and torch experience, ability to use air and electrical hand tools.


Welder – Applicant will be involved in fabrication of material handling machines and components.  Applicants must have basic blueprint reading skills, mig welding required and tig is optional.
