HCMH Approves Resolutions for Building Project Monday

By: Nathan Bloechl — nathanb@977thebolt.com

Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt County Memorial Hospital Board of Directors approved four resolutions Monday that helped them move forward in their building project.

The hospital board approved a resolution that will allow them to borrow an amount of money not to exceed 16 million dollars. The resolution approved Monday does not bind the board to borrow that money, but it allows the board access to that financing at a later date.

They also completed the public bidding process which will put the final approval in bidding documents as well as the final costs. Approving that resolution allows the board to start the final bidding process.

There were no timetables on the final bidding process presented on the meeting, Monday.

Hospital CEO Michelle Sleiter was unavailable for comment Monday, but this post will be updated with quotes from Sleiter when made available.
