Humboldt, Iowa – The Humboldt varsity wrestling team, as well as the boys and girls basketball teams will return to action this evening.
Wrestling will be live on the Bolt beginning at 5:45 with Keel Zinnel and Steve Reimers. It will be a varsity triangular in Eagle Grove, versus Eagle Grove and Manson NW Webster.
This is Humboldt’s first meet since going 1-4 at Osage this past weekend.
The Humboldt girls basketball team is striving for eight consecutive victories, when they host Clear Lake (11-) this evening. They are currently 3rd in the NCC at 8-2 behind the Lions and Algona.
The boys are looking for the second victory in as many games since defeating IFA last Friday. At 5-4, the Cats are only 1 1/2 games out of first place Webster City. The Lions come in under .500 at 5-7 in a very even North Central Conference.
No radio for basketball tonight, the games will begin at 6:15 with girls and 7:45 for boys.
