Eagle Grove, Iowa – A Sioux City man has been charged for the August 9th fire in Eagle Grove that injured nine.
Officials say that 21-year-old Luis Huerta-Valadez pleaded guilty to arson Monday in Wright County District Court. Huerta-Valadez was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Police say the fire started in the early morning hours of August 9th, 2016. Two police officers and a firefighter were among the injured persons in the fire.
There were no casualties.
