Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt City Council will look at approving five new zoning ordinances at their next meeting, per city administrator Travis Goedken.

Two of the new ordinances are re-zoning requests, one at 901 Taft Street North and the other at 707 1st Avenue South.

The city will also examine two minimum parking requirements.

The final ordinance to be discussed is to add a permissible use of upper-floor residential in C-2 general commercial district.

That district is concentrated along the highway corridors and highway frontage.
