Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the NFL Flag Football league for the first time this fall.
The league, sponsored by the National Football League, is set to begin September 7th and end one month later.
Boys and girls, from grades 3rd through 6th are encouraged to apply. The games will be played at the Soccer Field (Old Football Field).
Humboldt Parks and Recreation Director Chris Shaner says times are “tentative” for Thursday evening games from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., as well as Saturday mornings.
Registration fees are $35 and a late charge will be added after August 16th. The absolute final deadline to register, according to Shaner, is August 18th.
