Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors approved the use of federal aid for a bridge replacement project on C20, west of Livermore.
According to county engineer Paul Jacobson, 80% of the project will be covered by federal aid.
However, if the county would need more money for the project, there would need to be amendments made. The current valuation of the project is $274,000.
The bridge will be replaced by a 12-by-12 box culvert.
Preliminary plans will be submitted soon, according to Jacobson. Final plans will be done in December. The project will be bid during the first week of December.
