Fort Dodge, Iowa — For the past 43 years the Frontier Days have been held at the Fort Museum and the Frontier Village, but this year it’s going to be getting a new location. The main organizer of the event Kerk Friday announced that it’s going to from June 1-3, and it’s going to be at The Sports Park Raceway this year.
Kerk says “We knew we might ruffle a feather or two, but it was getting to the point where Frontier Days was getting kind of run of the mill and was due for the change and I want to bring it back to what it used to be.”
Even with the new location the Parade will still be at on Central Ave on Saturday morning.
