Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat football team, still without a coach for the upcoming season, now knows who their opponents will be.
The Wildcats, in a newly-fangled district that pits them with suburban Des Moines schools’, will open up with former NCC foe, Algona on August 24th.
The Cats will have four non-district games in total, with the aforementioned Algona, followed up with Garner-Hayfield-Ventura and two former district foes in Storm Lake and Spencer.
District play will begin on September 21st with Humboldt taking on Boone. In order the rest of season they’ll battle Dallas Center-Grimes, Webster City, Carroll, and Perry.
The home and away portion of the schedule is not finalized as of yet.
