Humboldt County Sheriff’s Arrest Three, Search for One in Drug Case

Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department has arrested three and is in search of one in a large scale drug related case, according to law enforcement officials.

Humboldt law enforcement officials have arrested Phillip Martin, 59 of Humboldt; Joel Martin, 56 of Humboldt; and Shanda Roper, 37, of Callendar, Iowa.

The sheriff’s department is in search of 42-year old Timothy Anderson, also of Humboldt.

Phillip Martin was charged with two felony drug related crimes and two serious misdemeanors and a simple misdemeanor. Law enforcement officials allege Martin was in possession of more than five grams of methamphetamine with an intent to deliver.

Joel Martin was charged with one serious misdemeanor, 1st offense possession of a controlled substance. He was released and will appear in court at a later date.

Roper was booked on four separate charges, with one felony included — drug tax stamp violation. Roper is being held at the Humboldt County Jail at $7,600 cash bond.

The Humboldt Sheriff’s Office is also looking for help on finding 42-year old Timothy Anderson of Humboldt. Anderson’s bond has been set at $16,600 cash only.
