Humboldt, Iowa — Humboldt High School’s Drill Team will be making their first appearance at the State Dance and Drill Team Championships later this (Thursday) afternoon.
“I am incredibly excited for my first opportunity as head coach to lead the Humboldt High School drill team as we participate in the ISDTA 2019 State Competition” said head coach Nicole Fusco.
The Cats will be competing at Wells Fargo Arena this afternoon for their kick routine at 2:24 p.m.
They’ll resume competition tomorrow at 8:42 a.m. for pom and 3:59 p.m. for their lyrical routine.
The lyrical routine will be performed in HyVee Hall. Awards will be presented each day at 8:00 p.m.
“I cannot wait to see their hard work and dedication pay off. I’m sure they will do a fantastic job representing the community of Humboldt” Fusco explained. “The girls are looking to forward to showcasing the skills and dances they have been spending countless hours perfecting.”
