Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt County Board Supervisors approved two separate drainage completion matters at their meeting on Monday.
First, the board approved the Completion Hearing for DD #3.Supervisor Erik Underberg said the board might want to have Don Reefer assess the vegetation in the ditch, which is overgrown in some spots, but nothing was formally decided on.
Drainage Engineer Rick Hopper says the board could also look at the bulkhead, which has some normal wear and tear on the sides.
It would require a work order, Hopper said.
The county will pay $10,048.72 to Jerke and Sons for retainage.
