Humboldt, Iowa — Rodd Mooney and the Humboldt Wildcat girls’ basketball team will formally open up their 2018-19 season this evening as they will take part in the annual Iowa Central Triton jamboree scrimmage this evening.
The eight-team jamboree will begin at 5:30 p.m. with Algona squaring off with Pocahontas Area.
Humboldt will lock horns with Southeast Valley in game two at 6:10 p.m.
Following the Wildcats, St. Ed’s will battle Manson-NW-Webster and Webster City will challenge Fort Dodge Senior High.
All games will be played at Hodges Fieldhouse on the campus of Iowa Central, in Fort Dodge.
The Wildcats will open their 2018-19 season against Pocahontas Area next week at Humboldt High School.
