(KHBT) — On Saturday December 15, 2018 Officer Brad Thiele stopped a 2007 Chevy Silverado for a
routine traffic violation.
The driver of the vehicle, 60-year-old Kenneth Clabaugh of Whittemore, Iowa exited his vehicle and attempted to engage the officer in a fight.
Officer Thiele was able to subdue Mr. Clabaugh and place him under arrest. Mr. Clabaugh was charged with the following:
Possession of a controlled substance, Marijuana 3 rd Offense, Class D Felony
Possession of a controlled substance, Xanax 3 rd Offense, Class D Felony
Unlawful Possession of a prescription drug, Serious Misdemeanor
Interference with Official Acts, Simple Misdemeanor
No Driver’s license, Simple Misdemeanor
No Insurance, Simple Misdemeanor
Mr. Clabaugh was placed in the Humboldt County jail wand held on a $11,900 bond.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
