Wrestling: Mat Cats Break with 14-1 Dual Record

Storm Lake, Iowa — Chad Beaman’s Humboldt Wildcat wrestling team may not want to go into the Christmas break quite yet.

How can you blame them?

They notched another dual victory last night on the road versus Storm Lake and sit at 14-1 now heading into the hiatus.

Beaman’s group has been white-hot of late capturing a first-place team finish at Ogden, crowning three champions at the Don Miller Invite last Saturday in Fort Dodge, and now securing a victory over the Tornadoes.

The Cats will be off until 2019 breaking for the holidays.

97.7 The Bolt will pick up coverage of the grapplers again January 3rd, when the Cats take on Clear Lake in a dual.

Wrestling will get underway the 3rd at 6:30 p.m.
