Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt Wildcat girls’ and boys’ basketball teams will both be back on the hardwood tonight as they travel to do battle with South Central Calhoun on the road.
The girls’ losers of two straight will try to pull off a major upset of top-ranked South Central Calhoun, who is led by terrific senior Maddie Jones.
The South Central Calhoun girls’ have started the season 12-0.
The Wildcat boys’ will look to snap a three-game losing streak with losses versus St. Ed’s, G-H-V and most recently to Clear Lake last Friday.
The South Central Calhoun boys’ are another tough foe coming in with a 10-1 record.
They’ve won nine straight.
Tonight’s festivities will get underway at 6:15 p.m.
Due to contractual obligations with Iowa State, there will be no radio for tonight’s games.
