Gasoline Prices Raise Ever So Slightly

KHBT — The price of retail gasoline in Iowa rose $.04 this week, closing at $2.08. Nationally, the price of retail gasoline rose $.03, closing at $2.27.

Retail diesel fuel prices in Iowa were $.01 higher than last week’s price with a statewide average of $2.71. One year ago, diesel prices averaged $2.95 in Iowa. The current Iowa diesel price is $.22 less than the national average of $2.93.

Propane prices were the same as last week for a statewide average of $1.32 per gallon. Home heating oil was up $.03 from last week’s figures, ending with a statewide average of $2.23.

Natural Gas prices fell $.63 at the Henry Hub reporting site and currently priced at $3.02/MMbtu.
