Humboldt, IA — The Humboldt Downtown Project is slowly making its way along the northeast side of Sumner Avenue.
City Administrator Travis Geodken gave an update saying that they are hoping construction can move to the southern side of the block in the next couple of days.
The first block of the project is projected to be done by the end of the month. An overall timeline for the project is still up in the air but a target of three blocks of Sumner Avenue being done before winter.
The project is planned to be broken up into two parts with work being done before winter and then finishing work on the Sumner Avenue sidewalks by spring of next year.
