Carroll, IA — On Friday night, the Humboldt Wildcats fell on the road to Carroll 45-6.
Humboldt’s lone touchdown came on the ensuing kickoff from the opening score by Carroll as Jamison Heinz took it to the house to make it 7-6 and that would be the closes the Wildcats were on the night.
Humboldt struggled against a stout Carroll defense as the Wildcats had just 137 yards of offense.
Carroll forced four Caden Matson interceptions and had 467 yards of offense to dominate the Wildcats and set up a district championship game next week against Dallas Center Grimes as both teams are undefeated in district play after DCG beat Webster City 41-27 on Friday.
Humboldt is now 1-7 and play their final game of the 2019 season this Friday against Perry on the road.
