The Renwick Fire Department will be holding a fish fry fundraiser March 6th with a predetermined snow reschedule date of March 7th if need-be. The event will take place at the Renwick Community Center with a start at 5pm and end at 7pm and will require a free-will donation to enter. Carry-out will be available, though there will also be seating available for those who choose to dine-in. Proceeds from the event will go toward an addition to the fire shed. On the menu is fish, fries and coleslaw.
The Webster County Chapter of Pheasants Forever 36th Annual Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 20th at the Webster County Fairgrounds
south of Fort Dodge. Doors open at 4:30pm with a New York Strip dinner catered by Hy-Vee served at 6:15pm. Numerous games and raffles, including a special youth raffle table, plus Live & Silent Auctions are planned. Humboldt County Public Health will be holding Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination clinics on March 31st and April 1st at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds.
Eligibility is still restricted to those who are 65+, essential workers and/or those with pre-existing conditions. See the HCMH link below for full eligibility information. Appointments are first come, first served and are mandatory for those who are eligible to be able to receive the vaccine. Prior to your appointment, completing the ‘1st dose vaccine form’ is also mandatory.

Join the Humboldt/Dakota City Noon Kiwanis Thursday, April 29th for their annual roast beef dinner, the proceeds of which will go toward helping local children and families. The meal will include a roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, coleslaw and a brownie.
Tickets are $10 for adults, with children under 10 years of age eating for $5. This will be a drive-through event, where you can either get a ticket from a Noon Kiwanis member or at the door. The traffic flow will be as follows, drivers will enter Zion Lutheran Churches west parking lot from the south and exit to the north.
On Wednesday May 19th, the Humboldt County Historical Museum is introducing a seasonal display this year called “WE WANT YOU TO SERVE YOUR COMMUNITY!”: Clubs and Organizations of Humboldt County. There will be an open house event for the opening of the display. Displays will be in the Millhouse and Clancy building and cover the history of the clubs and organizations that served throughout the county’s history. Clubs range from study clubs to service clubs. The Millhouse and Clancy building will be open to walk through and see the other displays as well! A $5 donation to the museum is the price of admittance.
Join the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital Foundation in supporting healthcare in Humboldt County at the HCMH Foundation Founder’s Golf Outing on June 18th, 2021.

The event will consist of 9-hole or 18-hole four person best-shots and have tee times, free gifts and to-go meals for players as well as a cash bar!
Mulligans will be available 4 for $40 and a virtual awards ceremony will be featured on HCMH’s facebook live after the event.
The Badger Fireman’s Ball will be coming up at the end of June. There is a $15.00 admission fee (7 and under free) which includes a meal of pulled pork, baked beans, chips and cookies served from 5pm – 7:30pm with a drive thru option available.
Casey Muessigmann from Team Blake on The Voice returns for a night of LIVE music! Casey will be playing from 8pm-midnight.
There will also be a virtual auction on Badger Fire & Rescue facebook page ending at 4pm on June 26th.
