Petty Cash Pay Out Rules

Contest rules for Petty Cash Payout on KHBT

  • Contest Period: January 16, 2023 – February 10, 2023

  • Between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., each weekday Monday-Friday (excluding Saturday and Sunday), KHBT will play four Tom Petty songs. The first listener to call to identify it as a Tom Petty song will win $25 in “petty cash”. Listeners do not have to quote the “name” of the song, but that it is a Tom Petty song only.

  • Listeners will have the length of the Tom Petty song to call (515) 332-4100 and claim their “petty cash”

  • If any one of the Tom Petty songs is not identified between 6:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., the “petty cash” prize amount grows by $25. When the next available Tom Petty song is identified by a listener, they win the current “petty cash” prize amount, and the next “petty cash” payout reverts back to $25

  • One winner per household through the contest period. A listener can only win one time throughout the contest period. All winners are required to pick up prize at KHBT during business hours 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday, located at 2196 Montana Avenue, Humboldt, IA 50548

  • KHBT reserves the right to change the contest rules and prizes at any time throughout the contest period listed herein. All decisions by KHBT management are Final.
