Humboldt, Iowa — The USDA is sending out a warning for all Iowans about a possible salmonella risk. The warning is also going out to Minnesota, Illinois, Nebraska and South Dakota.
The USDA Food Safety twitter page sent out a tweet saying “Salmonella concerns with chicken salad products sold at all Fareway grocery stores in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska & South Dakota. Salmonella can cause salmonellosis, one of the most common bacterial foodborne illnesses.”
