Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors approved the purchase of three new trucks for Humboldt County Secondary Roads.
Interim Engineer Ben Loots provided the supervisors with three quotes from two companies: Don’s Truck Sales of Fairbank, Iowa and Rees’ of Fort Dodge, Iowa.
The supervisors approved the apparent low bid at their meeting Monday, which was presented by Don’s Truck Sales of Fort Dodge.
The trucks will be complete with box, one-way plow, wing, towing package and sander.
After trade-ins the price would be $445,350.
The delivery date is set of October of this year.
