Humboldt, Iowa — One person was charged — and uninjured — in a single vehicle accident that occurred Monday.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year old, Zandohn Kpor of Algona was southbound on Highway 169 when the accident took place.
Law enforcement officials say a semi passed Kpor’s vehicle which ended up spraying rain and slush onto the vehicle.
Kpor got lost into the slush and lost control entering the east ditch. The vehicle then struck a junction box and a tree. The junction box belonged to MidAmerican Energy and was damaged upwards of $2,000 in cost.
Kpor was was uninjured in the accident but was cited with No Insurance-Accident Related by Humboldt County Sheriff Tim Fisher.
