Humboldt, Iowa — Last week it was announced that David Thilges would retire from Humboldt Secondary Roads.
Monday, the Board of Supervisors made it official.
Thilges, a 43-year veteran of Humboldt County Secondary Roads as a foreman, is hanging it up.
The Supervisors were gracious and appreciative of Thilges’ hard work and wished him well.
“I have enjoyed my time in Humboldt, I’ll miss it greatly” Thilges expalined.
He joked he could see more time fishing moving forward.
Congratulations on an amazing 43-year career!
