Dakota City, Iowa — The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors remain to have a busy week as the group has two additional meetings set for this week.

This morning (Wednesday) the board will meet with Mike Borland of the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship.

Borland will meet the board informally, with landowners present, to discuss wetland consideration. That meeting will begin at 10:30 this morning.

Tomorrow, the board will meet with various entities in Franklin County.

The plan will be to discuss Special Tax Provisions on Wind Farms. The board will meet with District II County Supervisors, ISAC representatives and other surrounding boards.

There is also a chance the groups will address a plan to take to the state legislatures requesting a change in legislation.

That meeting will be held at the Franklin County Law Enforcement Center at 10:00 a.m., Thursday.
