3A Boys Shuttle Hurdle Relay: Matt Miller, Tyler VItzhum, Trevor Satern, Sawyer Savery; 1.01.65; 16th overall
2A Girls 3000m: Jill Vonnahme: 10:52.03; 4th overall
3A Girls 3000m: Bryce Gidel: 10:52.96; 9th overall
3A Boys 3200m: Quinton Orr: 10:16.47; 14th overall
3A Boys 200m: Jamison Heinz: 22.89; 11th overall; Denny Pedersen: 22.78; 7th overall (Pedersen will compete in Saturday’s 200m final at 2:00 p.m.)
2A Boys 4x800m relay: Trey Oehlertz, Mike Vonnahme, Cade Henrickson, and Jamison Frerk: 8:36.30; 20th overall
3A Boys 4x800m relay: Calvin Carlson, Eric Wittrock, Caiden Baker, Noah Helmer: 8:35.36; 21st overall
3A Boys 100m: Jamison Heinz: 11.50; 14th overall
3A Boys 400m: Matt Miller: 50.31; 9th overall; Denny Pedersen: 50.46; 11th overall
3A Girls 4x100m Hurdle Relay: Lilly Groat, Kailee Dettmann, Claire Varangkounh, Jori Hajek: 1:10.50; 17th overall
FRIDAY:
2:00 p.m.: 3A Boys Long Jump: Jamison Heinz and Matt Miller: Matt Miller and Jamison Heinz fail to make finals in the long jump after being seeded inside the top-5. Heinz best leap was 20-5″, Miller around 18-5″
2:40 p.m.: 2A Girls Distance Medley: Jill Vonnahme, Jessica Sump, Sarah Powers, and Allison Devereaux take third in their heat and place 15th overall with a time of 4:25.03.
2:55 p.m.: 3A Girls Distance Medley: Rachel Darling, Mady Lange, Bryce Gidel and Gabby Kent finish 19th overall in a time of 4:26.
3:40 p.m.: 2A Girls 100m Hurdles prelims: Jessica Sump finishes 11th in prelims running a time of 16.16.
3:55 p.m.: 3A Girls 100m Hurdles prelims: Humboldt freshman Lily Groat takes 8th in the third heat with a time of 16.88.
4:15 p.m.: 2A Boys 4x200m relay: Ryan Anderson, Cam Callivon, Shea Ruffridge, and Chase Boeve go 1:34.11 for an 18th place finish.
6:40 p.m.: 2A Boys 4×100 Relay prelims: Pocahontas Area places 6th in their heat with a time of 44.82 and finishes 17th overall. That’s the team of Christian Davidson, Ryan Anderson, Shea Ruffridge, and Chase Boeve.
7:15 p.m.: 3A Girls 4×400 Relay prelims: The 4×400 group of Tabitha Jergens, Bryce Gidel, Gabby Kent and Mady Lange finish 7th in their heat and 22nd overall following a 4:17.60.
8:00 p.m.: 3A Boys 4×400 Relay prelims: Humboldt’s team of Jamison Heinz, Cale Hundertmark, Matt Miller and Denny Pedersen go 3:25.35 for 6th place overall finish which means they’ll be running in tomorrow’s final at 4:20 p.m.
SATURDAY:
3A Girls Sprint Medley Relay: Team of Carlie Thompson, Jori Hajek, Mady Lange and Gabby Kent place 19th overall following their time of 1:57.48.
3A Boys Sprint Medley Relay: Team off Tyler Vitzhum, Trevor Satern, Cale Hundertmark and Denny Pedersen place 21st overall this morning running a 1:37.48. Glenwood placed first running a state record 1:33.11.
3A Boys 200m Final: Humboldt’s Denny Pedersen places 8th overall, running 23.12. Pedersen qualified 7th overall after posting a 22.78 on Thursday.
2A Girls 1500m: Jill Vonnahme medals in the 2A Girls 1500m run following a run of 4:58.25. So two medals this weekend for the future UNI Panther
3A Girls 1500m: Bryce Gidel is a two year medalist in the 3A 1500m run. Gidel finishes 8th with a time of 4:54.68.
