Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt County Engineer’s Office will begin paving projects today, according to new head engineer Ben Loots.
Loots said the county will begin work on County Road C49 today and are expected to have about eleven days worth of paving.
“Depending on the weather it could be more” said Loots at yesterday’s supervisors meeting.
Loots explained that he thinks today [Tuesday] could be one of the only days this week were it would be ideal conditions for paving with rain in the forecast for the remainder of the week.
“It’s got to happen sometime” Loots explained, “We’re about a month behind [on paving]” he mentioned.
97.7 The Bolt will have further updates on the paving projects as they are made available by the Humboldt County Engineer’s Office.
