Softball Improves to 11-0 After Shutout Win at Algona

Algona, Iowa — The #3 ranked Humboldt Wildcat softball team improved to 11-0 last night after dispatching Algona in a road North Central Conference victory.

The Wildcats used a four run fourth inning to secure the victory.

Freshman Jori Hajek clubbed her second home run and drove in two runs.

Kyah Arnold and Ashlyn Clark each had two hits in the win, as well.

Pitcher Ellie Jacobson earned her tenth victory throwing seven shutout innings allowing just three hits and walking one.

Humboldt is back on the diamond tonight as they’ll travel to Belmond-Klemme. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
