Humboldt, Iowa — The bracket has been released in the Class 3A softball rankings and the Humboldt Wildcats will open on July 3rd hosting Pocahontas Area.
The rest of the quarterfinal region is Hampton-Dumont battling Forest City; Algona hosting Garner-Hayfield-Ventura; and Clear Lake squaring off with Clarion-Goldfield.
Humboldt, should they beat Pocahontas on the 3rd, would play the winner of Hampton-Dumont and Forest City.
Semifinals would be played on July 6th with the region championship on Monday, July 9th.
Humboldt defeated Southeast Valley in last year’s region championship to earn a berth to the State Tournament in Fort Dodge.
