LuVerne, Iowa — The death of a man in LuVerne is now being investigated by the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation, multiple sites are reporting.
According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, a resident of LuVerne called the sheriff’s office to report her husband was found unresponsive on the floor of their north-central Iowa home.
The deceased party has yet to be identified by law enforcement, but his body was sent for an official autopsy at the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Kossuth County Sheriff’s could not confirm at this time if there is a suspect or a person of interest in the case, but they did say there is no immediate danger to the public.
The investigation remains on-going.
