Humboldt, Iowa — A Humboldt man was taken to the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital with injuries sustained in a pedestrian-motor vehicle accident, yesterday.
The Iowa State Patrol identified the man as Joseph Murphy, of Humboldt. According to the ISP, Murphy ran into the path of the vehicle.
The vehicle was driven by Jana Stogdill, of Humboldt as well.
The Iowa State Patrol says Stogdill was eastbound on First Avenue North when Murphy entered the street.
Murphy’s condition is unknown at this time.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department, as well as the the Humboldt Police Department assisted on scene.
