Humboldt, Iowa — This weekend marks the last fall burn date for the City of Humboldt. Burning is allowed this Saturday, November 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The city states that all fires must be constantly attended with a hose nearby.

Burning is not allowed on City property, including city street right of ways.

For those uninterested in the burn, the city compost pile is open for the season, as well.

Waste is permitted only to leaves, garden vegetation and grass clippings, trash is not allowed.

The city announced they will have another burn date later this upcoming Spring.
