Humboldt, Iowa — A single vehicle accident that occurred this past Saturday did not result in any injuries, the Humboldt Police Department announced.
The accident involved 22-year-old Thomas Myers of Humboldt, who was driving a black Chrysler vehicle.
According to the statement given by Officer David Jones, the vehicle belonging to Myers was found in the ditch after sliding on ice, damaging the front of the vehicle.
Jones says Myers was able to drive away following the accident.
The damage estimate to the front middle of Myers vehicle was $1,200.
No charges were filed against Myers.
