Humboldt, Iowa — No injuries were reported after a car accident in Humboldt Monday morning.
According to a police report from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department, Tulekka Marie Torgerson, 46, of Dakota City, was traveling southbound and did not see Paula Rojas’ Chevy Cobalt in the intersection of 8th Avenue North and 10th Street North.
Rojas, who was travelling east, said she did not see Torgerson’s vehicle either. Both vehicles have approximately 3 to 5 thousand dollars in damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Both drivers were charged with not carrying insurance.
