Humboldt, Iowa — The Humboldt City Council has appointed a new police officer for the city of Humboldt.
Mitchell Skow, a long time resident of the Humboldt area and member of the Algona Police Reserves, was hired by the council on its meeting last Monday.
Skow says he’s excited to get started in law enforcement on a full-time basis.
