Humboldt, Iowa — A silent auction is going on today from 10 A.M. until 4 P.M. in Room 21 at Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt.
Andrea Reet, Small Animal Specialist at the Humboldt Community Animal Shelter, says there are a number of great items at today’s auction, such as a $200 Humboldt Vet Clinic gift certificate and two $50 gift certificates from Harmony Vet Clinic.
There are also great handmade items up for bids, such a a pen, goat milk products, and candles.
Perhaps the most saught-after item at the auction is an autograph from American Idol winner and Iowa native Maddie Poppe.
All proceeds from this event will go to the Vet Account at the Humboldt Community Animal Shelter. Online bidding is available at the Humboldt County ACO’s Facebook page.
