Des Moines, IA — Applications will open up soon for the Future Ready Iowa Employer Innovation Fund which will give more opportunities for citizens of Iowa find fulfilling careers and aid employers to find the workers they need.

Governor Kim Reynolds (R-IA) is encouraging those interested in signing up as it will open up on June 21st. This legislation was signed back in May in order to help talent development and provide ways for individuals looking to get licenses in a short amount of time to get into high demand jobs, as well as assistance in getting education beyond a high school diploma. The goal of the fund is to get 70% of Iowans post high school education and training into the workforce by 2025.

According to the Iowa workforce development, only 58% of citizens currently meet these stipulations.
