Humboldt, IA — Humboldt County supervisors gathered for their weekly meeting yesterday morning as many topics were covered.
The most talked about topic being some work needing to be done to local drainage areas to stop water gathering and overflowing into farmer’s properties. A quote was discussed for a new air conditioning unit on the second floor of the courtroom as the initial price was $23,764. Supervisor members were hesitant to move forward with approving as Rick Pederson will be the one heading an effort to lower the price before voting next week.
Finally, a hearing and bid letting for a ditch cleanup off of Highway 169 was set for July 22nd.
