Hildreth Wins 2019 County Queen

Humboldt, IA — The Humboldt County Fair continues on with day 3 of events at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds.

However, last night was the county queen contest where three ladies were in the running for the crown and it ended with Elizabeth Hildreth being named the 2019 Queen. Hildreth just recently graduated from Humboldt High School and will be attending Iowa State in August. Runner-up was Holly Kirkoff and Miss Congeniality was Alexis Lange.

Today, Chainsaw artist Lynn Anderson is performing from 9-5 as Anderson will be at the grounds from Today until Sunday. A couple livestock shows will be available with the dairy goat show starting things off followed by the meat goat, sheep, and poultry shows.

The carnival will open an hour earlier with rides available at 4pm. Arm bands are available from 5 to close and will cost $15. The final free grandstand event highlights the night as it takes place at 7 with Impact Pro Wrestling.
