Humboldt, IA — Vivian Blair, 73 of Humboldt, was involved in a 2 car wreck at the Casey’s off of 5th St. S in Humboldt around 2pm on Wednesday.
The report from Officer Andrew Shillington states that Blair was backing into the travel portion of the road from a parking spot on the west side of the road. The second driver involved did not have their information released in the report but was parked on the edge of the east side of the road waiting for traffic to clear.
Blair backed into the front of the 2019 single unit truck and Blair stated that she was driving her daughter’s vehicle which did not have a backup sensor which she claimed her own car did and caused her to not know she was about to back into the truck. No one was injured in the accident and no citations were given in the wreck.
