Humboldt, IA — One man is dead after a car accident this weekend in Humboldt.
According to a press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office:
“The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office investigated a fatal vehicle accident on November 15, 2019. The Humboldt Law Enforcement Center received a report of a single vehicle accident at 11:27 P.M. The accident occurred near 1991 120th Street in Humboldt County. Joel Haynes, 45, of Bode, was eastbound on 120th Street when he lost control, left the roadway, and the vehicle struck several trees. Haynes was ejected from the vehicle. Haynes was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Bode Fire and First Responders, Humboldt EMS, and the Humboldt County Medical Examiners Office.”
