Fort Dodge woman hits deer, no injuries reported

Humboldt, IA — No injuries reported after a car struck a deer early Thursday morning.

According to a police report from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, Kayla Brandt, 21, of Fort Dodge, was southbound on Highway 169 when her vehicle came in contact with a deer.

Brandt’s car, a 2017 Chevrolet Spark, suffered $4,000 in damage. Brandt was uninjured. Her car did have to be towed from the scene, as it was disabled. Brandt was not cited with any improper action.
