Humboldt, IA – Some financial relief may be available for some businesses in Humboldt County.

If you own a small business in Humboldt County and have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 situation, the Humboldt County Development Association and the Small Business Association want to help. Alissa O’Connor tells KHBT that the SBA has released available funding for small businesses affected by COVID-19.

O’Connor says that these funds will only be made available for the businesses in Humboldt County if O’Connor and her office report a need to the SBA. O’Connor is asking that Humboldt County business owners contact her and her office if their small business has been negatively affected by COVID-19 so she might include them in her summary to the SBA.

O’Connor says the deadline for the submission is today, Wednesday, March 18, at 12 pm and all businesses must contact her before the deadline.
