Humboldt County, IA – There are no injuries reported after a vehicle strikes a deer during a Thursday morning commute.
Deputy Kenneth Vorland of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Thursday, April 2, that Cody Orr, 20, of Renwick was traveling south on State Route 17 when a deer ran out in his path from the east. Orr was unable to stop in time, resulting in him striking the deer with his blue Dodge Dart.
The incident resulted in minor damages to Orr’s Dart. He did not report injury to Deputy Vorland at the time of the incident.
