West Des Moines, IA – Hy-Vee, Inc. announces that effective Wednesday, May 6, it will be limiting meat purchases at all of its locations
In a press release from Hy-Vee the announced they will continue to work with industry leaders to prepare for any possible fluctuations in product and so they can consider how best to serve the communities they operate in. While product is available at their stores, the slowing and shut down of plants coupled with the increase meat sales might cause some shortages. The company will be limiting sales to four packages of a combination of fresh beef, ground beef, pork and chicken at all their retail locations.
The changes will go into effect May 6 and last until further notice.
