Car strikes a deer, receives minor damages

Humboldt County, IA – No injuries reported after a deer is hit by a sedan last Friday evening.

Deputy Kenneth Vorland of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday, June 12, that Terry Johnson, 65, of Kanawha was traveling east on 100th street. According to the report a deer ran in front of Johnson’s black Chevrolet Impala resulting in contact between the animal and sedan.

The incident resulted in minor damage to the left front cornor of Johnson’s Impala. No injuries were reported by Deputy Vorland at the time of the incident.
