Humboldt, IA – No injuries reported after two cars have a head on collision in Humboldt last Thursday.
Officer Erin Bennett of the Humboldt Police Department reports that on Thursday, June 18, that Alexa Hemmelrick, 18, of Livermore was northbound on Elmhurst Avenue, turning right onto Eagle Ridge Drive. As she did a minor coming the other direction on Eagle Ridge crossed the center line. The action resulted in a head on collision where the left front of Hemmelrick’s gray Nissan Xterra met the left front of the minor’s silver Ford Pickup truck.
The incident resulted in severe damages to Hemmelrick’s Xterra that had to be towed and only minor damages to the minors pickup that was driven away from the scene. No injuries were reported by Officer Bennett at the time of the Incident.
