Dakota City reviewing water treatment plant bids

Dakota City, IA – Dakota City is preparing to review bids for work done at the city’s water treatment plant and will hold a special meeting of the city council to take action on the bids received.

The City Council for Dakota City is hosting a special meeting to discuss and possibly approve bids for the work done at the water treatment plant. As previously reported by KHBT, the council passed a resolution during their June meeting to approve the updates at the facility. Bid request went out later that week.

City Administrator Angelique Berry tells KHBT that the official opening and reviewing of the bids will be Friday, July 10. Then Monday, July 13 the city council for Dakota City will hold a special meeting to discuss and either accept a bid or reject all bids.
